Adam Walker, Independent
Our first interview was with the incumbent and independent candidate. Adam Walker spoke passionately about his history and public record. He argued that as an independent, he would move forward uninhibited and free from political party nonsense.
Stephannie Higginson, BC NDP
Our second interview was with BC NDP candidate Stephanie Higginson. She spoke about her time on the school board, and what she was hearing on the doorstep from voters. She celebrated Eby’s leadership and argued the pros of being part of a governing party.
We hope that you watch both interviews and compare each candidates responses. In the end the choice of who to vote for is yours.

Who am I? An enthusiastic citizen, who is driven to have positive political conversations.
I studied political science at the University of Victoria but have never worked in Government. I like to flip through McLean’s, listen to At Issue, but I won’t say I am “plugged in” to the Canadian news media. Instead, I create educational videos on political theories and terms that could help you understand the news better.
I believe you should listen twice as long as you talk and that even though not everyone is a story teller, everyone has a story.
The purpose of politics is to act collaboratively to seek what is in the public good. If only the public could agree on what that is... right?
